Cheers, darling.

The following is a poem that I wrote for a pretty sad girl. Enjoy.

Cheers, darling.

Rains, tiny bits of water
Pour and wet all alike
Here and there, bitter
Clocks ticking, she hears
Lost for a minute.
Maybe a year?
Nonce she withers,
but Ocean crushes
the fear—
Forget the rain;
Soaked in the Sea,
Those pretty eyes
Shan’t get wetter.

Cheers, darlin’.
